System Analyst (Banking)

About the role

Capco, a Wipro company and global technology and management consultancy focused on digital transformation in financial services, is hiring a System Analyst (Banking) in Bangkok. The role supports the design, specification and delivery of banking and payments solutions, working closely with developers, business analysts and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and assigning tasks to junior System Analysts and coach and transfer knowledge to all team members.
• Take part in understanding business requirements and processes, define system scope and prepare and evaluate alternative workflow solutions.
• Write and communicate system design documents such as system workflows, database and API specifications and functional architecture to developers.
• Help developers with use cases, flowcharts and validation of requirements from business analysts.
• Validate test results, analyse them and facilitate issue resolution.
• Work with dep ops and IT security to configure infrastructure such as gateways, firewalls, EDW or data lakes per epic or backlog item.
• Investigate, resolve and escalate production issues, and recommend technical improvements and reuse of requirements across projects.
• Analyse technology trends and their impact on business goals.

Required profile

• University degree (preferably in business or IT) with a strong academic record.
• 3-7 years of experience in a similar role (Business Integration or Business Analyst).
• 2-3 years of client-facing experience.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural, international environment.

Required skills

• Requirements management and/or process modelling.
• Knowledge of development methodologies such as RUP, Kanban, Scrum and Waterfall.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
