Project Component Management Engineer – PCM RPP (Cost Reduction)

About the role

The Project Component Management Engineer (PCM_RPP) will drive cost‑reduction initiatives for automotive components at Bosch Thailand. You will lead engineering change processes, ensure product validation, and act as the technical liaison for key OEM customers in Japan and Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end‑to‑end Engineering Change Request (ECR) process, from risk analysis to implementation.
• Oversee sample build activities for PV testing and quality evaluations, ensuring smooth collaboration between cross‑functional teams and testing labs.
• Define and verify validation testing items related to change points.
• Maintain technical documentation, including BOM updates, internal and approval drawings, and basic SAP operations.
• Support ISO 16949 and ISO 45001 project activities.
• Monitor project health through bi‑weekly PDCA updates and track cost‑reduction metrics.
• Manage environmental compliance submissions (IMDS) and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for major Japan and Thailand OEM customers, delivering high‑impact presentations on fit, form, function, Cpk results, and timelines.
• Lead Design Review Based on Failure Mode (DRBFM) sessions with international teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
