Senior Analyst / Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy (Bangkok)

About the role

Agoda's marketing team is data-driven and builds at-scale, measurable programs that improve the lifetime value of customers. It combines analysts, marketing strategists and data scientists, and is expanding, so several analyst roles exist across different channels. This Bangkok-based position offers relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Experiment with ads and campaign structures and bidding and pricing strategies on partners such as Google, Bing, Tripadvisor and Trivago, and adapt to new product features
• Analyze experiment data, build predictive models with data science techniques (e.g. impact of TV campaigns on bookings, demand elasticity from pricing) and work with product teams on implementation roadmaps
• Build dashboards to track performance, derive insights and present recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative subject (computer science, mathematics, engineering, business or science)
• 2+ years of data analysis experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity or strategy/business for a fast-growing global tech company
• Excellent English verbal and written communication
• Ability to act on objective evidence, take ownership and work independently

Required skills

• Data analysis packages or databases such as SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, SQL
• Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Nice to have: digital marketing or e-commerce experience, A/B testing, strong presentation and negotiation skills
