Deputy Business Development Manager - Flexible Packaging

About the role

This role combines strategic account management with hands-on business development, working closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams such as operations, supply chain, QA and finance. It acts as deputy to the Sales Head, with potential to take on broader leadership responsibilities over time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow key B2B accounts, mainly in FMCG, personal care, oral care and related sectors
• Drive new business development, including prospecting, pipeline building and converting new customers
• Support sales strategies, pricing and commercial negotiations
• Work with production, planning, quality and supply chain to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
• Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews and management reports for regional stakeholders
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to spot growth opportunities
• Support contract renewals, commercial discussions and long-term partnerships

Required profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales and/or business development in B2B manufacturing or FMCG-related industries
• Experience with multinational customers and cross-functional internal teams
• Background in packaging, plastics, FMCG supply chain or manufacturing is a strong advantage
• Experience in laminated tube packaging is a plus
