Finance and Accounting Manager

About the role

Wilhelmsen is seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to lead its finance team in Bangkok. Reporting to the General Manager – Thailand and functionally to the Regional Finance Director, you will ensure financial reporting complies with IFRS and WPS policies while supporting business partners across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach the finance team to deliver accurate month‑end closing, P&L reporting and commentary.
• Prepare and file monthly tax reports, withholding tax, VAT and corporate income tax returns.
• Manage operating cash, liaise with regional cash‑management and credit teams, and monitor long‑outstanding receivables.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual statutory audits and produce audited financial statements.
• Support corporate governance tasks such as budgeting, board meeting minutes, and statutory filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field; CPA or CPD preferred.
• Up to 10 years of finance experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in English and Thai, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.

• BOFC / Uniplan Reporting System / BIS.
