Lead Data Engineer – Bidding (Bangkok, relocation)

About the role

As a Lead Data Engineer on the Bidding team, you will drive technical excellence across our data and machine‑learning pipelines. You will help the Data Science and Business teams launch experiments quickly while ensuring scalability, quality, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in improving scalability, quality, accuracy, speed, and efficiency of existing data and ML processes.
• Design, build, test and maintain tools, libraries, pipelines and platforms that enable production‑grade experiments.
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to automate large‑scale data management, analysis and ML tasks.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of systems that support rapid experimentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 6 years in data/ML engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing, writing and maintaining data pipelines while ensuring data quality.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven engineering mindset.
