Strategy Consultant – Emerging Markets

About the role

Roland Berger, a global strategy consultancy founded in 1967 and headquartered in Munich, is hiring a Consultant in Bangkok. You will develop and implement tailored strategies and business models in an international project environment and help clients face their challenges in a VUCA world. You will own one or more project modules or lead smaller projects, and you are treated as an entrepreneur from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Own one or more project modules or small projects, including defining the project structure and formulating solutions
• Work directly with clients at management level, keeping communication open at all levels
• Guide module teams, both clients and colleagues
• Contribute to business development
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, and support the Project Manager in client meetings
• Lead client interviews

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, or 5-8 years in relevant industry roles, ideally in investor support (due diligence), healthcare, energy, transportation, telco, media and tech
• Diversified experience in emerging markets, including Southeast Asia
• Outstanding academic credentials; an MBA from a top-tier institution and international experience is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to travel
