Finance & Tax Executive (FMCG / Consumer Products)

About the role

HRnetOne is recruiting a Finance & Tax Executive for an FMCG / consumer products business based in Thailand. The role covers client invoicing, collections, accounting vouchers, and Thai VAT compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for clients on invoicing, statements of account and payment schedules, and follow up by phone and email to secure timely payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate the delivery of tax invoices and billing sets so that attachments meet each client's internal requirements and avoid payment delays.
• Manage the flow of documentation for retail and distribution orders, matching and filing sales orders, delivery orders and invoices.
• Prepare and organise payment, receipt and journal vouchers together with their supporting evidence, and prepare source documents such as invoices, receipts and credit notes.
• Enter data into the accounting system accurately and keep a systematic physical and digital filing system ready for audits.
• Issue full and abbreviated tax invoices correctly under the Thai Revenue Code, monitoring the sequence and accuracy of retail sales records.
• Verify incoming supplier tax invoices to ensure they are claimable (company name, address, tax ID, format) to maximise VAT recovery and minimise audit risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (accounting or tax accountant); retail, trading or distribution experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Thai tax system, especially input versus output VAT and tax invoice compliance.
• Functional English for reporting to regional management.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to handle large volumes of repetitive documentation accurately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Good command of MS Excel.
