Partner Cost Manager

About the role

Cisco is looking for a Partner Cost Manager in Chonburi. The role covers end-to-end cost management for manufacturing partners, including quotation validation, pricing negotiation, cost structure optimization and profitability assurance. It acts as a strategic cross-functional liaison between Engineering, Finance, IE, Program Management and Contract Manufacturers (CMs).

Key responsibilities

• Create quarterly and annual/3-year capacity plans, including resource allocation and scaling strategies, convert them to capex plans and align with Finance on execution.
• Prepare and present capacity reports and insights to the management team, and run weekly capacity dashboard reviews, progress updates, gap analyses and coordination with multiple teams.
• Track and analyse CM spending, yield/scrap and transformation costs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Review daily CM offline spending quotations, compare prices and costs, build a cost database and submit purchase requisitions.
• Drive quarterly cost-reduction projects such as consumable, HPU, FA, test, service and scrap cost analysis and cost-down actions.
• Work with Finance on monthly open PO updates, quarterly settlements and yearly spending forecasts.
• Support the Manager with CM transformation cost management and quarterly summary reports.

Required profile

• BS/BA or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of experience or similar; optical/electrical engineering technologies background preferred.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and proactively to resolve issues.
• Keen attention to detail, multitasking in a self-managed environment, strong negotiation, data analysis, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and a strong sense of urgency.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Oracle system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
