Sales Manager

About the role

Arrow Electronics (Converge, a full-service global supply chain partner) is hiring a Sales Manager in Bangkok, Thailand. The role leads the delivery of sales results from direct reports, owns an individual account plan with targeted growth goals and works closely with the General Manager and Sales Director on strategy and customer plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of sales results from direct reports and own an individual account plan with growth goals
• Make recommendations to the General Manager and Sales Director on strategy and customer plans, using data analysis and past experience
• Direct value-added sales opportunities through supply chain, engineering, supplier or service excellence strategies
• Help achieve sales branch goals, not just team goals, and lead the execution of sales plans for team members
• Recruit, hire and train sales staff, manage performance and development, coach employees and ensure the team has the resources to deliver sales plans
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors, attend reviews and meetings, and increase management presence at customer accounts to reach decision makers
• Use data and analysis to recommend to the team and management, and handle budgeting and planning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience
• Ability to build good relationships with customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams
• Proactive, strategic mindset and resilience

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
• Data analysis and use of data to inform recommendations
